    The United States is the world’s largest economy, generating a GDP of $30.7 trillion in 2025. At this same value, Anthropic’s proposed TAM is almost equal to America’s entire GDP. Unbelievable!


  1. 1/4th of the World’s GDP ($31.2 tn)

    The world’s GDP is estimated to be about $125 trillion and this proposed TAM would be equal to 25% of the world’s economy!


  1. SpaceX’s TAM ($28.5 tn)

    During its recent IPO, SpaceX estimated its TAM to be $28.5 trillion, out of which $26.5 trillion was attributed towards AI specially. Anthropic’s proposed TAM has even gone beyond that number to top $30 trillion.


  1. Revenue of 191 Tech Companies on S&P ($2.4 tn)

    While AI is still developing as an industry, let’s compare it to tech firms. 191 technology companies on the S&P 1500 cumulatively generated $2.4 trillion in revenue last year. This means that the proposed TAM is 12.5 times of this cumulative revenue!
