China Construction Bank is the largest and most valuable bank in Asia, followed by Agri Bank of China and ICBC.

In fact, the top 4 banks are also from China, with Japan’s Mitsubishi UFJ Financial on the 5th spot.
Out of the 14 listed here, China’s banks cumulatively account for $1.6 trillion in market value, with Japan at $482 billion, less than one-fourth.
India’s HDFC Bank and Singapore’s DBS Group also make it to Asia’s top 10.
